Zachery Ryan Myers

Zachery R. Myers Glenville Zachery Ryan Myers, of Glenville, PA, was granted his angel wings on March 16, 2017 following a heroic battle against Epidermolysis Bullosa. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 22 at 11:00 AM at St. Jacob’s (Stone) United Church of Christ, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville with his Pastor, Rev. Eric Hallett from the Glen Rock Church of Christ officiating the service. Viewings will be held Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 PM and Wednesday from 9 to 10:45 AM at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, is assisting the family with arrangements. Left to cherish his memory are his devoted mother Chrissy Wingler, father Timothy Myers, sisters Hannah & Madisyn Myers and brother Brady Salter. Zach’s love also extended to his dedicated caregiver Gloria Lighthall, best friend Max Mowbray, and the many people that provided love and support to him. Born August 29, 2006, Zach was a fourth grade student at Friendship Elementary in Glen Rock. He loved superheroes, scary movies, going to the beach, and spending time with his family, including his dog Bailey, and cats, S’mores, Jinx, and Princess. Zach’s gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him and his mischievous sense of humor was always ready for a good joke or prank. Zach possessed superhero strength, perseverance and an ability to overcome many challenges. With his Hulk Strong courage, Zach was an inspiration to his entire community and taught those around him that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create a lasting memory. With Zach’s passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him every day, especially his winning smile, he will forever remain in our hearts.
