Wilson A. “Willie” Williams, 76, of Glen Rock, died Sunday, October 7, 2018 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Linda M. (Hengst) Sleeger-Williams, with whom he celebrated a 32nd wedding anniversary this past November 29th. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday October 11, 2018 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. A viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with flag folding and taps by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. The family requests that you dress casual. Willie was born in Freeland, MD, a son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Hazel E. (Hutchins) Williams. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired as a set up person from Stewart Connector, Inc. in Glen Rock. Willie loved going boating and fishing on the Susquehanna Roiver, watching James Bond movies and eating hard shell crabs. Besides his wife he leaves his children, Robert A. Williams (Cindy) of Spring Grove, Eric W. Williams (Shelly) of Seven Valleys, Jodi L. Decca (Jim) of York, Helen R. Hershey (Brian) of Spring Grove, Terri L. Abrisch of Wrightsville and David E. Williams of York; numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Grace (Gene) of Dover and Tina Tyler (Richard) of Delta and a brother Barry Williams (Sharon) of Seven Valleys; many nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Sara Adams of Glen Rock. He was predeceased by a brother Ronald D. Williams and a grandson, William C. Abrisch. Condolences may be shared at geiple.com
