William T. “Bill” Wise Sr. Windsor William T. “Bill” Wise, Sr., 69, of Windsor, died Monday September 5, 2016 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Sharon L. (Norris) Wise, with whom he celebrated a 45th Wedding Anniversary on March 6, 2016. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday September 8, 2016 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York, with Military Rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Procession to the grave site will form at the main entrance to the cemetery by 2:20 PM. Officiating at the service will be Jordan Reilly of Chapel U.M. Church. Bill was born in Windsor on June 26, 1947 and was a son of the late Thomas W. and Theda R. (Wolfgang) Wise. He graduated from Red Lion High School in 1965 and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War Era and served in the Army National Guard. He was employed as an Inspector at BMY-United Defense (now BAE Systems), York for 13 years, following which he worked for the PA DCNR at several local State Parks in park maintenance. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, William T. “Bill” Wise Jr. and his wife Missy of York, Daniel S. Wise and his wife Danyiel of Red Lion; six grandchildren, Chloe, Aubrie, Ben, Kayla, Brandon and Braxton; a great granddaughter Hazel; a sister, Connie Hetzel and husband Guy of York and a brother Fred Wise of Windsor.
