William Henry Hax

William Henry Hax, 61, of York, passed away peacefully at home on January 19, 2024. Will was born February 18, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Earl and Evelyn (King) Hax. He is survived by his wife Debbie Smith Hax, daughters Meredith A. Callahan, Lindsay M. Smith, and Sarah K. Tracey, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brothers Charles Casey of North Carolina, Earl Edwin Hax of Baltimore and his sister Michelle Hax of Baltimore. Will was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed fishing the local waters as well as saltwater fishing in the Chesapeake Bay and at Ocean City, Maryland. He also enjoyed being a part of the HAM radio community and spent many hours talking on the radio to other HAM radio operators. Will loved to dig up and collect glass antique bottles and would often come home with a new treasure. Will was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Will had many friends and he will be greatly missed.

A viewing will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, PA 17327 from 12 noon to 1 PM at which time a funeral service will be held. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Well, c/o Immanuel UM Church, 1 New Street, Glen Rock, PA. 17237.
