William E Sweitzer

On Friday, September 20, 2024, William E. Sweitzer, II, 53, of New Oxford, passed away suddenly at UPMC Hanover Hospital. He was born on September 3, 1971 in Norristown, PA to William E. and Brenda L. (Hengst) Sweitzer.

Bill worked for many years at Dentsply Sirona as a technical trainer. He was a team motivator and had a lot of pride and passion in his work. With his work he got to travel the world with Ken Lee.

He loved deer hunting with his dad; his Penn State team; his Maltese Dogs; and Neeko. He also played in a band for many years for his love of music. Bill finally found the love of his life, Gail and he loved carrying on with his sister Wendy and brother Scott. Bill was loved by many who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Brenda and Bill; one brother, Scott A. Sweitzer; and one sister Wendy S. Sweitzer Minnick.

A memorial gathering will take on Thursday, October 3, from 5:00pm until a memorial service begins at 6:00pm at the family farm, 7302 Yellow Church Road, Seven Valleys, PA 17360. Pastor Richard Dubbs will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are recommended to the York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
