William C. Wilson Glen Rock William C. “Bill” Wilson, 83, of Glen Rock, died Tuesday August 25, 2015 at the York Hospital. He was the husband of Viola M. (Ridley) Wilson who he would have celebrated 63 years of marriage with on December 15th. A viewing will be held on from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday August 28, 2015 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc, 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. All other services will be private. Bill was born in Shrewsbury Township on November 25, 1931, a son of the late Charles B. and Mae (Grove) Wilson. He worked as a machine operator and inspector for New York Wire Cloth, York for 43 years, having retired in 1994 and also had worked for the Seven Valleys Vineyard. Bill is also survived by two daughters, Betty Street and Lisa Wilson; three sons, William C. Wilson, Jr., Jeff Wilson and Randy Wilson; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren; and three sisters, Evelyn Glatfelter, Betty Rudy, and Phyllis Mason. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Glatfelter and Hazel Kopp and three brothers James Wilson, Albert Ensig, and Vernon Wilson. The family requests no flowers.
