William C. Lucabaugh

William C. “Bill” Lucabaugh, Jr., 71, of Pottsville, who was formerly of Glen Rock, died Thursday September 19, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. Following cremation, a celebration of his life memorial service and sharing of memories will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday September 29, 2019 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. There will be no viewing and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Bill was born on September 29, 1947 in York and was a son of the late William C. and Treva J. (Werner) Lucabaugh. He was a 1965 graduate of South Western High School, Hanover and attended Penn State. He was employed as a spreader with a sewing company in Reading and had also helped in the construction industry for many years. He volunteered with the First United Methodist Church of Pottsville in their Soup Kitchen and as a Drug Counselor. Bill leaves two sisters, Elaine A. "Gus" Nafe and her husband, Keith of Glen Rock, and Shelly L. Miller and her husband, Dan of Glen Rock; and his brother, Jerry E. Lucabaugh and his wife, Beth of Glen Rock and a niece and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 330 West Market Street, Pottsville, PA 17901.
