Wilford K. Smith Seven Valleys Wilford K. Smith, 93 of Seven Valleys, died Saturday October 31, 2015 at his home. He was the husband of the late Miriam L. (Krebs) Smith and the late Betty J. (Markel) Smith. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at St. Jacob’s Stone UCC Church, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville with Pastor Melissa Eicholtz officiating. Burial will be in St. Jacob’s Stone Church Cemetery. Viewings will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday at the church. Mr. Smith was born on August 7, 1922, in Brodbecks a son of the late Willis V. and Annie (Kaltreider) Smith. He retired as a Stock Clerk from Teledyne Reedco in York in 1987, following 44 years of employment. He was a member of St. Jacob’s (Stone) United Church of Christ and was an avid Baltimore Orioles Fan. Wilford leaves a son, Robert K. Smith of Dover, a step daughter, Karen D. Allen of Gainesville VA, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two sisters, Mildred Smith of Glen Rock and Eva K. Boyer of York. He was also predeceased by three brothers, Raymond, Nevin and Preston Smith.
