Vicki J. Miller

On September 29, 2022, Vicki Jo (Frey) Miller, 82, of York passed away peacefully with her husband, Delano "Del" Miller by her side. They would have been married 65 years on October 26. Vicki Jo was born on October 19, 1939 in York County to the late John E. Frey and Edith (Day) Frey Hershey. She graduated from Susquehannock High School in 1957. She was known for her superior golfing skills and was a member of the York County Golf Association, Penn National Golf Association, and was a 50+ year member of the Bon Air Country Club where she was former Chair Lady for the Bon Air Golf Association. Vicki Jo was also a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Glen Rock, and the Austin L. Grove American Legion Post #403 in Glen Rock. In her spare time, she enjoyed selling AVON to family and friends, and golfing at Bon Air Country Club and at courses in the Bahamas.

Vicki Jo is survived by her husband, Del; sisters, Virginia Fengfish and Claudia Luke and husband Albert; brothers, John Frey and wife Gina, and Scott Hershey and wife Pam; and she was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Michael Frey; one sister, Sondra M. Amspacher; and a brother-in-law, Phil Fengfish.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and gratefulness to the staff of ProMedica South and Heartland Hospice for their care and assistance in the final days of Vicki Jo's life on earth. Their compassion to her and the family is greatly appreciated.
