Thomas P. Augustyniak Glen Rock, PA Thomas P. Augustyniak, 53, of Glen Rock, husband of Cheryl L. (Ellerman) Augustyniak to whom he was married to for 23 years. Funeral services to honor Tom’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, with the Rev. Fr. Joshua R. Brommer, officiating. There will be no viewing. Visitations for family and friends will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday and from 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home. A prayer vigil will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Tom was born on October 1, 1959 in Baltimore, a son of Melvin J. Augustyniak of Baltimore and the late Rose J. (Iannantuono) Augustyniak. He was employed as Machine Mechanic with Independent Can Company in Belcamp MD for 12 years and was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Freedom. Tom loved nature and enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Besides his wife and father, he is survived by a daughter, Jill A. Augustyniak of Glen Rock, a son Joe L. Hornberger and wife Amber of Delta; two grandchildren, Joe L Hornberger Jr. and Madalyn S. Hornberger; two sisters, Phyllis Karko and husband Lou of Perry Hall, MD and Joanne Augustyniak of Eldersburg, MD, two brothers, Jerome R. “Jerry” Augustyniak and wife Tina of Glen Rock, and Dan Augustyniak and wife Maria of Spring Grove and many other relatives and friends.
