Thomas M.H. "Tommy" Rohrbach, 74, formerly of Glen Rock, went home to join his parents and twin brothers in heaven on March 17, 2022, after a brief illness in York Hospital. Born May 14, 1947, he was the son of Harold and Margaret Rohrbach and brother to Nevin and Neal, all who are deceased. He was much loved by his extended families, Carolyn and Ron Smith and Lucy and Dave Brooks; and cousins, Myrna Dell, Kent Rohrbach and Lamar Rohrbach. Tommy lived at Shrewsbury Courtyards. Much appreciated and helpful friends included Jason Brooks, Jim and Ann Merrick. Faithful caregivers Betty Watemyer and Mel King. Never short for words, Tommy easily made friends, talking to everyone. His favorite things were fishing, scratch lottery tickets, holidays, and eating out. He especially loved summer visits to Ocean City with Carolyn and Ron. He worked at the Sheltered Workshop putting things together - which was specific employment for mentally handicapped. He had also worked maintenance at AMF, where he participated on their bowling team, the Insulator and Stewart Connectors. He was a member for many years of the Young Handicapped People Club, Inc. and the Glen Rock Jaycees. A Celebration of Tommy's Life will be held on Wednesday, June 8th at 2 PM at the Shrewsbury Courtyard's Community Room. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Trinity United Church of Christ, 27 Manchester Street, Glen Rock, PA 17327, where he was a lifelong member. Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at www.geiple.com.
