Thomas L. Kravontka

On Friday, March 8, 2024, Thomas L. Kravontka, 79, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Lois M. (Markel) Kravontka for 20 years before her passing on February 23, 2019. Tom was born on August 15, 1944 in Nekoosa, Wisconsin to John L. and Rose Hellen (Styka) Kravontka. After graduating high school, Tom became a welder for Bell Construction and was a welder and truck driver for the remainder of his career. He was respectfully known as "McGuyver", due to his amazing creativity and craftsmanship.

Tom is survived by two sisters, Margaret Bennett and Virginia Morton, and ten nieces and nephews; Lois's three siblings, Shirley Wolfgang, Kenneth Markel and Gordon Markel; Lois's granddaughter, Chelsy Moats; Lois's great-grandson, Ivan Alexander. Tom is preceded in death by his wife, Lois; his parents, John and Rose; a sister, Katherine Hussey; and Lois's son, Stacy Farmer.

A memorial service celebrating both Tom and Lois's lives will be held on Wednesday, March 20, at 2:00pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock.
