Terry J. Wilson Glen Rock Terry J. Wilson, 65 of Glen Rock, died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at his home following a brief illness. He was the husband of Valerie A. (Sweeney) Wilson. The couple celebrated a 10th wedding anniversary on March 26th. Terry was born on July 24, 1952 and was a son of the late James H. and Gem (McCann) Wilson. He grew up in Shrewsbury Township and graduated in 1970 from Susquehannock High School. He was a lifelong farmer and operated a Dairy Farm in Shrewsbury Township for over 20 years and he worked as a loader operator with York Building Products for over 20 years, retiring this past July. Prior to that he had worked for Shrewsbury Township of 14 years. Besides his wife he is survived by two children, Lacey J. Gutman (Dr. Arie) of Miami, FL and Terry M. Wilson (Jen) of Glen Rock; step children, Scott Warfel (Jenna) of Red Lion and Shawn Warfel of York; six grandchildren Aaron, Brayden, who lived with him, Benjamin, Mollie, Klara and Katie; a brother, Jim B. “Junior” Wilson of Glen Rock; three sisters, Linda A. Lawyer of York, Donna J. Gentzler of Manchester and Lucinda A. Donough of Port Royal, PA; and his four-legged friends, Cocoa and Reggie. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock with Rev. Douglas L. DeStephano, officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Fissels Church Cemetery. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 PM Monday and from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
