T. Joann Brenneman

On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, T. Joann (Pigg) Brenneman, 88, of Glen Rock passed away at home with her family by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late Dale E. Brenneman, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage before his passing last year. Joann was born on February 5, 1934 in Chatham, VA to the late Lysander and Teresha (Abshire) Pigg. A homemaker who loved taking care of her children, Joann also was a rental property business partner with her husband, Dale. She was also a member of the Society of Farm Women of Pennsylvania, and Friedensaal Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She joined with 5 other members of her family to form a gospel singing group called Wellspring. In her spare time, she enjoyed oil painting, writing poems, cooking, and gardening. She leaves behind a son, Timothy R. Brenneman and his girlfriend Linda S. Gable of York, a daughter, Rebecca S. Beck and husband Timothy of Seven Valleys; four grandchildren, Jesse, Cassandra, Nicole and Lauren; 4 great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Helen Pigg. She was predeceased by her husband; parents; a son, Mark Nevin Brenneman; two siblings, Henry Ward Pigg and Jessie Allen, and one brother-in-law, William Allen. Public viewings will be held on Monday, June 27, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, and again on Tuesday, June 28 from 10 AM until a funeral service begins at 11 AM at Friedensaal Lutheran Church, 9138 White Church Road, Seven Valleys, PA 17360. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
