Steven A. Meiler

Steven A. Meiler Stewartstown Steven A. Meiler, 50, of Stewartstown, died of natural causes, Wednesday December 14, 2016 at York Hospital. He was born on July 22, 1966 in York and was a son of Mary L. (Burgard) Meiler of Dover and the late Vernon R. Meiler. He graduated from York County Vo-Tech in 1984 and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a self-employed remodeling contractor for over nine years. Steven was a member of the Austin L. Grove American Legion Post #403, Glen Rock, where he had served as Vice President of the Post, was Lead Runner of the Post’s Legion Rider Motorcycle Group and competed in the Post’s Pool League. He was an avid golfer, playing at Briarwood Golf Course and was also an avid hunter. Besides his mother, he also leaves his fiancé Tina Harris of Stewartstown, a son, Joshua Mueller, (who is serving in Afghanistan) and his wife Cristina of Airville, two brothers, David W. Meiler of Spring Grove and Charles R. Meiler of Dillsburg, a sister, Melody J. Ahrens of Spring Grove and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Following cremation, all services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Austin L. Grove American Legion Post #403, 4035 Manchester Street, Glen Rock, PA 17327
