Stephen J. Hook Glen Rock Stephen J. Hook, 67 of Glen Rock, died Monday December 17, 2018 at the SpiriTrust Lutheran The Village at Shrewsbury. He was the husband of Julie A. (Looney) Hook, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage on September 16th. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Stephen was born in Baltimore on June 15, 1951 and was a son of the late Robert C. and Mary V. (Lilley) Hook. He graduated from Dulaney High School and received a bachelor’s degree from CCBC. He been employed as a truck driver with Truland Electrical in Baltimore for 10 years. Prior to that he had worked with his father at Robert C. Hook Construction. He was a member of the World-Wide Church of God and the Living Church of God in Maryland. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Holly S. Hook of Mercersburg PA, two sons, Wesley S. Hook of Parkton, MD and Jarrod C. Hook of Parkville MD; two grandchildren; a twin sister, Stephenie M. (Hook) Marsh-Marra of Sparks MD. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert C. Hook Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. Condolences may be shared at geiple.com
