Sondra M. Amspacher

Sondra M Amspacher York Sondra M. (Frey) Amspacher, 83, died Friday November 11, 2016, at Manor Care North, York. She was the wife of Clinton G. Amspacher Sr., with whom she celebrated a 63rd wedding anniversary on June 9th. All services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock is assisting the family. Mrs. Amspacher was born on October 14, 1933 in York and was a daughter of the late John Edward and Edith (Day) Frey Hershey. She graduated in 1951 from Glen Rock High School, which was the last class to graduate from the school. Glen Rock High School in Glen Rock in 1951. She retired in as a manager from Aramark, York in 2005, following a career of over 45 years in Food Services. She was a past president and member for 58 years of the Austin L. Grove American Legion Post #403 Ladies Auxiliary, Glen Rock. Sondra is also survived by two sons C. George Amspacher Jr., Camp Hill and Dennis E. Amspacher and his wife Susan of York, two grandchildren, Renee and Dana, four great-grandchildren, Audrey, Allie, Emily and Lindsay, three sisters, Virginia Fengfish and husband Phil of Manchester, Vicki Miller and husband Del of York and Claudia Luke and husband Bert of Westminster, MD and by two brothers, John Frey and wife Gina of Florida and Scott Hershey and his wife Pam of Mt.
