Sharon M. Cope York Sharon M. (Stabley) Cope, 67, of York, died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Manor Care South. She was the wife of the late Stephen W. Cope who passed away April 25, 2014. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, May 30, 2014 at Round Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 7362 Church Road, Cross Roads with Rt. Rev. Barry Eugene Yingling CSSS, officiating. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., Glen Rock is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Cope was born August 25, 1946 in Windsor, a daughter of the late Claude W. and Dolores Geraldine (Hilt) Stabley. She graduated from Red Lion High School in 1964 and attended York Junior College. She retired as an Claims Office Supervisor in 2006 from the B.R. & C.F. in Harrisburg, where was employed for over 34 years. Sharon is survived by a brother, Claude W. Stabley, II and his wife Deborah of Dover, two brother-in-laws, Timothy T. Cope of Middlebury VT and Frederick O. Cope of Columbus, Ohio, and very good friends Carol and Tom Horton of York.
