Sandra Keller, 83, of Shrewsbury, who was formerly of Glen Rock, died Tuesday at York Hospital following a brief illness. Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 to 4:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Sandy was born on September 8, 1934 in Glen Rock and was a daughter of the late Harold D. “Diehl” and Arlene O. (Abel) Keller. She had worked as a part-time Administrative Assistant at Keller-Brown Insurance Services in Shrewsbury for many years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Glen Rock, where she volunteered for many years in the church office. She also enjoyed swimming, crewel and embroidery stitchery and was content with the simple things in life. She also was fascinated with the moon, which is why her memorial service will be held on the day that the rare triple treat of the supermoon, blue moon and lunar eclipse will occur. Sandra is survived by a brother, Barry A. Keller and wife Judith of Bonita Springs, FL.; her niece B. Joy Keller-Brown and husband Jeff Brown of Glen Rock, her nephew, David B. Keller and companion Ellen Darby of Shrewsbury; great nieces and nephews, Sarah Brown, Andy Keller, Emily Brown, Benjamin Brown and Josie Keller and her dear friends, Jennie Butz and Bridget Schnell. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Zion Lutheran Church, 49 Hanover Street, Glen Rock, PA 17327. Condolences may be shared at geiple.com
