Sally Ann Kaltreider

On Friday, May 17, 2024, Sally Ann Kaltreider, 67, of Glenville, passed away at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York. Born on December 24, 1956 in Hanover, PA to the late Robert J. and Margaret (Stair) Kaltreider, Sally graduated from Southwestern High School in 1974. She then graduated from Elizabethtown College in 1977; Widener University in 1981; and the University of Maryland - Baltimore in 1988. Sally was a never-ending reader; a life-long learner; and compassionate and understanding person. She always met challenges head-on with determination. Her career in nursing exemplified her care and concern for others.

Sally is survived by her sister Sharan Rinehart Marsh and husband Fred; nephews Andrew C. Rinehart and wife Elizabeth, and Aaron C. Rinehart and wife Molly; nieces, Amanda R. Ruggiero and Alana K. Rinehart; six great-nieces and nephews, Carter, Aubrey, Lucas and Jacob Rinehart, and Anthony and Finnley Ruggiero. She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew, Anthony K. Rinehart.

Public visitation will take place on Thursday, May 23, from 2:00 pm until a funeral service begins at 3:00 pm at St. Jacob's (Stone) Church, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville, PA 17329. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pastor Bruce P. Bouchard will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to St. Jacob's Stone UCC Good Samaritan Fund or their Sewing Group, at the church's address above.
