Ruby V Whitcomb

Ruby V. Whitcomb Glen Rock Ruby V. (Mosley) Whitcomb, 90, of Glen Rock, died Sunday, May 11, 2014. She was the wife of Henry H. “Buck” Whitcomb, Jr. and the late Paul E. Wildasin. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, with Pastor Thomas Beck, officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery. Viewings will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Whitcomb was born April 3, 1924 in Buladean, North Carolina, a daughter of the late David and Martha J. (Bowman) Mosley. She was employed for many years as a seamstress at the former Seven Valleys Garment Company and had work for Ambau Inn, Spring Grove and with Cremer’s Florist in Hanover for several years. She held memberships with the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #227, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1406, VFW Post #2506 and Amvets Post #22, all in Hanover. Besides her husband, Ruby also leaves a son, Rodney E. Wildasin and his wife Lesley of Eden, NC; Nine Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, six Great Great Grandchildren and a daughter in law, Brenda Wildasin of York. She was also predeceased by a son, Terry L. Wildasin and great grandson Seth Wildasin and by seven siblings.
