Rosalie J. Plunkett Hagerstown, Maryland Rosalie J. (Krebs) Plunkett, 80, of Hagerstown, Maryland died Saturday, October 26, 2013 in the Williamsport Retirement Village, Williamsport, Maryland. She was the wife of the late Donald J. Plunkett. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 31, 2013 at St. Jacob’s Stone UCC Church, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville, PA with the Rev. Dr. Jason Leader officiating. Burial will be in St. Jacob’s Stone Church Cemetery. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at the church. Mrs. Plunkett was born on November 9, 1932 in York, PA, a daughter of the late Melvin A. and Louise Miller Krebs. She was a homemaker and had graduated from the Codorus Township High School. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Hagerstown. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were most important to her. Rosalie leaves three sons, James M. Plunkett and his wife Nancy of Greencastle, Randy S. Plunkett and his wife Sally of Buffalo, Missouri, Terry M. Plunkett and his wife Kathy of Smithsburg, MD, three daughters Penny L. Beard and her husband Dwight of Clear Spring, MD, Holly E. Sines and her husband Michael of Hagerstown, MD and Jill E. Cushwa and her husband Michael of Williamsport, MD; 13 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; sisters Mayola Beaverson of York; Joann Harold of York New Salem and brothers Theodore Krebs and Larry Krebs both of York; and her special friend Glen Whitman. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Life Enrichment at the Williamsport Retirement Village 154 N.
