Rosalie J. Martin

On Friday, November 26, 2021, Rosalie J. Martin, 90, of Hampstead, MD passed away at Long View Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Manchester, MD. She was the wife of the late Leroy C. Martin, who passed away in September of 2020. Rosalie was born on October 12, 1931 to the late George D. and Mary E. (Ryan) Grimm. She worked for Dutter's Butcher in Manchester for 23 years before they closed, then worked for the Random House in Westminster until she retired at the age of 64. She is survived by her children, Steven L. Martin, Jay R. Martin, Randy S. Martin, Joyce E. Matthews and Debra L. Knepper; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Bessie Mae Kiser and Martha A. Nevius. Rosalie is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Following cremation, a memorial graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 2 at 10am at Bethlehem Steltz Cemetery, 5890 Steltz Rd., Glen Rock.
