Robert E. (Eugene) Kopp

On Friday, May 20, 2022, Robert E. Kopp, 88, of York passed away with his family by his side. He was husband of Beulah (Krebs) Kopp whom he married on March 26, 1955. "Bob" was born on January 24, 1934 in Glen Rock to the late Raymond and Marie Kopp. He graduated in 1951 from Codorus Township High School.
He started his career at H.M. Reymeyer and also worked for Goodling Heating and Air Conditioning and Shipley Energy. Over the years he worked as both a residential and commercial heating and air conditioning technician, later finishing his career in management.
In his personal time he enjoyed hunting and trap shooting, belonging to several clubs. He enjoyed his many vehicles including a 1955 Thunderbird and four motorcycles. Other hobbies included golfing and playing cards. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Loganville. The real joy in his life was his family. He had a strong work ethic and believed in treating people right and always trying to do the right thing.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Beth Wiley (Scott) of Millersville, MD; two grandchildren, Jennifer Mercer (Brian) of Wyckoff, NJ and Andrew Wiley of Severna Park, MD; and three great grandchildren - Everett, Brennan and Cooper Mercer.
Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 24, from 9:00 am until a funeral service begins at 11:00 am at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, PA. Interment will follow in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery, Glenville.
