Robert "Bob" Clinton Grove, 88, of Felton, passed away at his residence on November 5, 2024. He was born December 28, 1935, in Hopewell Township to the late Martin S. and Gladys V. (Silk) Grove. Robert is survived by his daughter Lonnie Chivers and husband Richard Lynn; grandchildren Jeremy Grove and wife Trista, Corey Chivers, Joshua Grove and wife Heather, and Casey Wilson and husband Jeremy; six great-grandchildren Elias, Wyatt, Charlotte, Nora, Tess, and Clinton. A sister Betty Orwig, and a brother James Grove and significant other Phyllis. He was predeceased in death by his wife of 68 years Wilhelmina E. (Gemmill) Grove, son Jerry L. Grove, brother William Grove, half-brothers Martin, George, and Miller Grove and half-sister Emily Brenneman. Robert graduated from Kennard-Dale High School in 1955. During his high school years, he worked on many neighbor's farms, as well as his in-law's farm. He went on to work for several woodworking companies, including Spangler's, Rojahn Cabinetry, then retired from Yorktowne Cabinetry. He was a "jack of all trades" including electrical, plumbing and wood working. Robert built his own home with the help of his father. He was a very dedicated family man who cared deeply about those around him. He was a past member of Round Hill Presbyterian Church.
A private graveside service will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Round Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
