Richard L. Henry Glen Rock Richard L. Henry, 90, of Glen Rock, died Friday November 21, 2014 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Audrey E. (Grove) Henry. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 1 New Street, Glen Rock, with Pastor David Brenneman, officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Tuesday at the church. Mr. Henry was born on August 9, 1924 in Shrewsbury Township, a son of the late Clarence S. and Mabel (Keeny) Henry. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, serving with the 717th Tank Battalion, Company D in the European Theatre of Operations. He retired from AMP, Inc. where he was employed as a Tool Designer for 36 years, retiring in 1986. Richard was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, the Bon Air Country Club and the Austin L. Grove American Legion Post #403. He also had served of the Glen Rock Water and Sewer Authority as the Secretary/Treasure for over 40 years and had served on the “Project 76” committee for the Glen Rock Park. He leaves a son Kirk L. Henry and his wife Patricia of Spring Grove, two grandchildren, Kyle J. Henry and wife April and Kristin E. Henry and fiancé Gannon Matthews and a great grandchild, Kendall R. Henry. He was predeceased by a sister Mildred Mohr. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel United Methodist Church, 1 New Street, Glen Rock, PA 17327 or to the Glen Rock Historical Preservation Society, P. O.
