Richard G. Howard

Washington Crossing – Richard G. Howard, 83, of Washington Crossing, PA, died September 11, 2018 at his home in Bucks County. He was the husband of the Patricia Ann (Markel) Howard with whom he shared a 58th wedding anniversary on August 28th, 2018. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday September 15, 2018 at Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, PA. Burial will be in St. Paul (Zeigler's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Seven Valleys with military honors given by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Howard was born July 13, 1935 in York and was a son of the late Albert and Annamae (Glassmyer) Howard. He was a United States Army Veteran. Richard was a very successful Insurance Manager with Prudential for over 35 years. He loved antiquing, gardening, planting flowers, fishing, traveling, and spending time at Ocean City, MD. Richard’s greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. In addition to his wife Patricia, he leaves two daughters, Paige Nangle and her husband Paul of Newtown, PA and Michelle Vas-Triglia and her husband Gary of Langhorne, PA; a grandson Matthew Nangle also of Newtown; a granddaughter Ashley Nangle of Cheyenne, WY; a sister Barb Figlock of Dover; and two brothers, Jim Howard and wife Bonnie of Chambersburg, PA, and Albert Howard and wife Ginny of York.
