Rebecca Ann Fanning Glen Rock Rebecca Ann (Ramsey) Fanning, 57, of Glen Rock, died at her residence on August 3, 2014. She was the wife of Mark S. Fanning, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage. A Memorial Mass will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, August 8, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (the Historical Church), 315 N Constitution Ave, New Freedom, PA 17349, with Rev. Fr. Anthony Dill, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. There will be no viewing. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, is assisting with the arrangements. Rebecca was born on July 1, 1957 in Silver Spring, MD, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Jean (Mannion) Ramsey. She was a 1974 graduate of Wheaton High School, Silver Spring, MD. Rebecca was self employed with Special Care, York, where she was a home health aid for the past few years. Mrs. Fanning was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Freedom. She enjoyed swimming, gardening, and she was an avid animal lover. Besides her husband, Rebecca leaves behind, a Son Matthew J. Fanning and his wife Lauren of Hampstead, MD; Two Daughters, Molly J. Fanning of Melrose Park, and Mary T. Fanning of Glen Rock; a Sister Mary Skinner and her husband Robert of Rehoboth Beach, DE; two Brothers, Mark Ramsey and his wife Margo and Michael Ramsey and his wife Mary all of Silver Spring, MD. She is preceded in death by a brother Walter “Skip” Ramsey. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 315 N Constitution Ave, New Freedom, PA 17349.
