Raynette M. Derksen Glen Rock Raynette M. (Lentsch) Derksen, 72, of Country Meadows at Leaders Heights, who was formerly of Glen Rock, died Sunday June 16, 2013 at the home of her daughter. She was the wife of the late James F. Derksen. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 21, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 315 North Constitution Avenue, New Freedom with Rev. Fr. Joshua Brommer, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock with a prayer vigil being held at 8:00 PM. There will be no viewing Friday at the church. Mrs. Derksen was born on October 30, 1940 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, a daughter of the late Raymond and Joann (Collin) Lentsch. She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Church and an avid bridge player. Raynette leaves, a daughter, Teresa A. Williams of Dover; two sons, Brian J. Derksen and his wife Margaret of Hanover and Jeffrey S. Derksen and his wife Alejandra of York; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three sisters, Sister Mary Dennis of Tennessee, Maureen Hobart of Rockwell City, IA and Rowena White of Pleasant Hill, MO. She was predeceased by a brother Dennis Lentsch. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Mark for Father Sylvan Capitani Fund, 315 North Constitution Avenue, New Freedom, PA 17349 or to Hospice and Community Care, 224 St. Charles Way, Suite 200, York, PA 17402.
