Patricia L. Thoman Glen Rock Patricia L. (Cavanaugh) Thoman, 86, of Glen Rock, died at Tuesday April 14, 2015 at SpiriTrust Lutheran Home at Sprenkle Drive, York. She was the wife of the late Earl H. Thoman. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday April 17, 2015 at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock with Rev. Ed Robbins, officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Thoman was born October 30, 1928 in Lewisburg, Pa a daughter of the late John and Mary Cavanaugh. She retired from the Southern York County School District where she was employed in the Cafeteria at Susquehannock High School for several years and prior to that she was employed as a Timekeeper with AMP, Inc. and with the former AMF Union Machinery Division, Glen Rock. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Glen Rock and had been a Scout Leader with both the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts in Glen Rock. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends and enjoyed playing cards and hearing the Glen Rock Carolers. Mrs. Thoman is survived by a son, Earl Stanley Thoman and his wife Merrill of York; a daughter, Linda S. Engler and her husband Glenn of Glen Rock; four grandchildren, Michael Engler and his wife Maria, Kimberly, Spurgeon and Brandon Krout; three great grandchildren, Rhys Engler, Chyanne and Zachery Krout; two sisters, Wanda Burkholder of Aliquippa, PA and Mary Frantz and her husband Richard of Connecticut.
