Patricia Elaine Mcdade

Patricia Elaine (nee Allison) McDade, of New Freedom, PA passed away surrounded by the love of her family, on Jan. 14th, 2024.

Born in York, PA Dec. 17, 1941, daughter of Clarence & Gladys (nee Krafft) Allison, she later moved to Texas, Maryland where she loved her friends like family. She raised her family in Freeland, then owned and managed Hampstead Liquors, retiring in 2015.

She enjoyed gardening, going to the races and loved her grandchildren more than anything.

She is survived by her son Joey Schmidt (Donna Schmidt), her daughters Mary Schmidt and Theresa McDade-Hall (Sam Hall); and grandchildren, Ashley Schmidt (Josh Blakeslee), Lauren Yeager, Joey Schmidt V, Autumn Schmidt, Bailey Schmidt, Wyatt Hall & Sam Hall and 4 great-grandchildren.

Service to be held on Jan 27th at Mt. Zion United Method Church, in Freeland, MD at 4pm, followed by a celebration of life at the Parkton American Legion.
