Patricia A. Gladfelter Spring Grove Patricia A. “Pat” (Erb) Gladfelter, 76, of Spring Grove, died Thursday September 24, 2015 at Rest Haven, York. She was the wife of Phillip E. Gladfelter with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, with her pastor, Melissa Eicholtz officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Glen Rock. Viewings will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Tuesday and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Gladfelter was born in Hanover on July 25, 1939, a daughter of the late Malcolm E. Erb and Loretta (Hull) Erb. Pat worked at Sylvania Shoe for 22 years, Alloy Rods, and Servomation Corp. until she and her husband bought a small convenience store in York, Phil’s News. There they had a very successful lottery business until 2001 when they sold the business. Mrs. Gladfelter was a member of St. Jacob’s (Stone) United Church of Christ. She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren, listing to country music, traveling and playing cards. Her three grandsons were the highlight of her life. She leaves a son, Robert S. Gladfelter and his wife Kimberly of Glenville; 3 grandsons, James, Matthew, and Joshua Gladfelter; a sister, Tammy Moser of Harrisburg; and a brother, Steven Erb of McSherrystown. She was predeceased by a brother Wayne Erb.
