Norma E. Watson

Norma E. (Isennock) Watson, 83, of Manor Care North, York, died Tuesday October 17, 2017 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Thomas C. F. Watson Sr. and the late Ovid Kenneth Simmons Sr. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday October 20, 2017 at Hereford Baptist Church, 9 Mt Carmel Rd, Parkton, MD. There will be no viewing. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Watson was born on December 18, 1933 in Sparks/Glencoe, MD to the late Eugene N. and Emberly Ruth (Johnson) Isennock. Norma was employed as a clerk at several retail stores during her life and also was a caregiver to an elderly man in the Monkton, MD area. She leaves three sons, Ovid Kenneth Simmons, Jr. and his wife Patricia, William E. Simmons and his wife Elaine and David R. Simmons and his wife Brenda, 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and a brother, Carl Ronald Isennock. She was predeceased by a daughter Teresa Ellen Hoover and by a son Thomas Curtis Watson Jr. Memorial contributions may be made to Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, PA 17327, to defray funeral expenses.
