Nancy L. Myers

Nancy L. Myers, daughter of Edward and Edith (Hengst) Krout, died on

August 12, 2024 at the age of 88. She was the wife of the late Cleathon Myers. They were married for 66 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Charles Krout, Vera Roberts, and Jean Green.

Nancy is survived by son, Steve and his wife Lois (Smith) Myers, and daughter Kim (Myers) Weigle and her partner, Greg Churchey.

Nancy attended Susquehannock High where she was a majorette with the marching band. She also twirled baton with the Glen Rock Band. Nancy attended Empire Beauty School to become a beautician and worked as a hostess at Smiths Country Kitchen.

She enjoyed traveling with friends and family, spending time at the shore, following the Hanover Lancers Drum and Bugle Corp, learning to play golf, and listening to country music. She loved her poodle, Gi-Gi.

Oh, and mom tolerated quite a few canoe trips with dad as a member of the Conewago Canoe Club, too!

Services will be private. Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. is assisting with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, 27 Manchester St. Glen Rock, PA 17237.
