Miriam L. Raver

GLEN ROCK Miriam L. “Peg” (Kashner) Raver, 87, died Friday, November 9, 2018, at her home. She was the wife of the late James F. “Bud” Raver. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 at Friedensaal Lutheran Church, 9138 White Church Road, Seven Valleys, with her pastor, the Rev. Margareta M. Breden, officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock and from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday at the church. Mrs. Raver was born on March 11, 1931 in Hopewell Township, a daughter of the late Albert and Dora J. (McWilliams) Kashner. She homemaker and was a member of Friedensaal Lutheran Church. She also loved her grandchildren and her cats, Miriam leaves a daughter, Joyce M. Taylor and her husband, Larry of Shrewsbury; and two sons, Dale L. Raver and his wife, Zoe of York, and Johnny E. Raver and his wife, Lisa of Glen Rock; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Friedensaal Lutheran Church, Building Fund, 9138 White Church Road, Seven Valleys, PA 17360; or to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, 19004.
