Mildred E. Miller

On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, Mildred E. “Millie” Miller, 95, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away at the Messiah Village in Mechanicsburg. She was the beloved wife of the late Malden L. “Bud” Miller. A public graveside service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, December 22, at Prospect Hill Cemetery, 700 N. George St., York, PA. Pastor Marleen Griffith-Stull will officiate. Millie was born on June 24, 1925 in Codorus Township, to the late Paul A. and Elsie G. (Wagner) Glatfelter. She retired from the US government as an Inventory Management Specialist at the Navy Ships Parts Control Center after 37 years of faithful service. She was also a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg. Millie is survived by her children, Bonnie J. Baim and husband Marty of New Kingstown, PA and Barry L. Miller of Mechanicsburg, PA; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud; parents; and 2 brothers, Paul A. Glatfelter, Jr., and Dean B. Glatfelter. Her children would like to thank the team members of the Engle neighborhood at Messiah Village for the care they gave their mom. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name are recommended to a charity of your choice.
