Mildred Bollinger

On Friday, December 30, 2022, Mildred N. Bollinger, 92, passed away at SpiriTrust Lutheran Zimmerman Place in Shrewsbury. She was the devoted wife of the late Donald Bollinger, who passed in June of 1995. She was born on March 19, 1930 in Codorus Township to the late Daniel and Gertie (Stengle) Shive. Mildred graduated from Glenville High School in 1946. She enjoyed working on her family farm, raising Angus cattle, going on bus trips, shopping, going out to eat and spending time with family and friends. She was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson, PA.

Mildred is survived by and dearly loved all of her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and sister-in-law. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three siblings, Herbert Shive, Shirley Markle, and Gordon Shive.

Public viewing will be Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 1:00pm until a funeral service begins at 2:00pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery. Chaplain Melissa Mosebrook will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to the York County 4-H Endowment Fund, 2401 Pleasant Valley Road, Ste. 101, York, PA 17402.
