Mayola J. Beaverson York Mayola J. (Krebs) Beaverson, 88, of Rest Haven-York, who was formerly of Glen Rock, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the home. She was the wife of Ellwood E. 'Bud' Beaverson, who passed away September 26, 2009. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday August 5, 2015 at St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church, 3444 Sticks Road, (Route 216), Glen Rock. There will be no viewing, however, a visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday at the church. Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr., Visitation Pastor at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hanover, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Jacob's 'Stone' Church Cemetery, Glenville. Mrs. Beaverson was born on May 8, 1927 in Codorus Township, a daughter of the late Melvin A. and Louise M. (Miller) Krebs. She was a 1945 graduate of Codorus Township High School. She has owned and operated with her husband the former Beaverson American Service Station and Restaurant in the Sticks area of Glen Rock from 1958 to 1989. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover. Mayola is survived by two daughters, Shelley L. Phillips of York and Cindy S. Stauffer of Erie; a son, Jeffrey A. Beaverson of Glen Rock; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Joann V. Harrold of York New Salem and two brothers Theodore M. Krebs and Larry L. Krebs both of York. She was predeceased by a son, Troy L. Beaverson, and by three brothers and four sisters.
