Mary Jane Adams Smith York Mary Jane Adams Smith, 78 of Pleasant Acres, York, died Tuesday October 22, 2013. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock with Rev. Robert G. Larkin officiating. Private burial will be in Trinity U.C.C. Cemetery, Glen Rock. There will be no viewing. Mary Jane was born on July 14, 1935 in Glen Rock, a daughter of the late Charles A. Adams, Sr. and Bernice I. Klinedinst Adams. She was a member of Bethel Chapel Assembly of God, the September House Senior Center and attended Christ Chapel International Ministries. She was a Foster Grand Parent. She was employed for many years as a Sales clerk for many local antique stores. She leaves behind a son Robert Smith and his wife Alnita of York, a daughter Kathleen Danner and her husband Ronald of Manchester; a daughter Melinda Kornbau and her husband Dale all of York and a daughter Wendy Forbes and her husband Craig of Enola, PA; 9 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren; a brother James Adams of York and a sister Linda Heffner of Stewartstown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York County Foster Grandparent Program 226 E. College Ave., York, PA 17403.
