Mary Elizabeth Dotson

On Sunday, July 14, 2024, Mary E. Dotson, 50, passed away suddenly at her residence in New Freedom. She was born on September 20, 1973 in Baltimore, MD, and was then adopted by the late Dolores M. (Booth) and Jerry J. Dotson, Sr. Mary was a graduate of Susquehannock High School, had an amazing sense of humor and a quick wit. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, coloring, puzzles of all types, shopping at Wal-Mart, and was extremely tech-savvy. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Mary is survived by three siblings, Patricia Lamb and husband Thomas, Jerry Dotson, Jr. and wife Cathy, and Sandra Dotson and fiancee Jack Logan; one aunt, Martha Dotson; 9 nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Jason and Brandon Lamb and wife Natalie, Brittany Dotson, Tiffany DiLeonardo and husband Dennis, Jarrett Dotson, Broc Schmelyun, Trevor Dotson, Colby Hartlaub and wife Pilar, and Paige Coleman and husband Ryan; and also 9 great-nieces and nephews, Emery Arvelo, Maverick DiLeonardo, Kynlee Lamb,Kendall Lamb, Brianna Mack, Tyler Mack, Bella Ochoa, Aurora Hartlaub, and Remi Hartlaub. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Michael Dotson.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 19 from 4pm until a funeral service begins at 7pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock.
