Mary E. Surguy

Mary E. Surguy Stewartstown Mary E. (Rogers) Surguy, 83, of New Freedom, died November 29, 2017 at the York Hospital. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday December 5, 2017 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. A viewing will also be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Funeral Home and will be followed by a procession to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Robert A. Yohe, Jr. officiating. Mrs. Surguy was born in Dover, New Jersey on July 22, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Joseph V. and Mary (Wood) Rogers. She loved playing BINGO, shopping, watching game shows, and was an avid sports fan. Mary is survived by a daughter Diane M. Ozarowski and her husband Lou of Tampa, FL; a son Andrew R. “Rick” Surguy, Jr. and his wife Cathy of New Freedom; two grandchildren, Jason Surguy and Elizabeth Surguy; a great grandson Jaxon Surguy; a sister Julie Vaught of Stewartstown; and two brothers, Joseph Rogers of Silver Springs, MD, and Bill Rogers of Delaware. She was preceded in death by a sister Anne Coffman and a brother Vincent Rogers. Memorial contributions may be made to Eureka Fire Company, 82 N. Main Street, Stewartstown, PA 17363.
