Mary E. Merrick

Mary E. Merrick York Mary E. (Seitz) Merrick, 96, of Senior Commons at Powder Mill, died Friday December 1, 2017 at the home. She was the wife of the late Robert Reider Merrick. All services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, is assisting with the arrangements. Mrs. Merrick was born on April 15, 1921 in Glen Rock, a daughter of the late Raymond M. and Erma (Decker) Seitz. She was a 1938 graduate of Glen Rock High School and attended Thompson Business School in York. She was a homemaker and had previously worked as an office secretary for the former Hungerford Packing Company, Shrewsbury, Mary is survived by a son, Steven M. Merrick and wife Cindy of York; two grandchildren, Jennifer Tiedebohl and Anne Rush; two great grandchildren, Addison and Oliver; a sister, Grace Dundore of York; a niece and nephews.
