Martin W. Halleran

Martin W. Halleran Glen Rock Martin W. Halleran, 66, of Glen Rock, died Thursday October 12, 2017 at his home. He was the husband of Deborah L. (Dyer) Halleran with whom her shared 36 years of marriage with on February 14, 2016. Martin was born on September 10, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wiscon. He was a son of the late William E. and Irene M. (Armstrong) Halleran. Mr. Halleran was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during Vietnam War. He worked as a Line Press Operator for Key Plastics, Felton, PA. Martin enjoyed, doing crossword puzzles, mustangs, trains, and music from the 50’s and 60’s. In addition to his wife Deborah, he leaves two daughters, Leanne M. Sherwood of Jacobus, and Jennifer S. Halleran of Seven Valleys; two sisters, Jaqueline Schegle of Lawrence, PA, and Kathleen Tillilie of Sewickley, PA. He was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Plaszaj. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life Service will be held 7:00 PM Friday October 20, 2017 at Glen Rock Church of Christ, 3899 Sticks Road, Glen Rock, with Rev. Eric Hallett , officiating. A visitation for family and friends to share their memories will be held Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
