Marlyn R. Henry Glen Rock Marlyn R Henry 80, of Glen Rock, died Thursday May 23, 2013 at his home, surrounded by his loving family, following a brief illness. He was the husband of Shirley (Stine) Henry, with whom he would have celebrated 57 years of marriage on June 16, 2013. Following Cremation, a Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Trinity United Church of Christ, 27 Manchester Street, Glen Rock. Burial will be at the convenience of the family The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street; Glen Rock is in charge of the arrangements. Marlyn was born in Glen Rock on June 5, 1932, a son of the late Paul W. and Annie Nye Henry. He graduated from Glen Rock High School in 1951. He retired in 1989 from AMP, Inc. as an Inspection Supervisor and in 1990 he drove Dump truck for Forry’s Excavating, Seven Valley’s until December of 2012. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era, and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. He was a member of the Austin L. Grove American Legion Post #403, Glen Rock, the Jefferson AARP and the Menges Milles Historic Horse Steam and & Gas Association. Besides his wife Shirley he leaves two daughters Karen R. Robinson and her husband Jon of Dallastown and Joann E. Forry and her husband Kenneth of Seven Valleys; a Grandson Daniel Forry and his wife Jamie of Seven Valleys, Two great grandchildren Jesse and Allison Forry and a sister Vivian Little of Shiloh.
