Mark Wilkerson

On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, Mark A. Wilkerson, 47, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital. He was born on December 14, 1974, in York, to Shirley (Raver) Wilkerson and the late John Wilkerson.

Mark graduated from York VoTech in 1993. He worked in the construction business for various companies in Maryland and York. He and his brother, Mike, operated Heat Wave Charters, a fishing charter in Ocean City Maryland. Mike was the Captain of the charter and Mark was his Mate. In his spare time, Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by two sons, John and Luke Wilkerson and their mother, Heidi Wilkerson; his mother, Shirley; one brother, Mike; 2 uncles, Bill and wife Sally Wilkerson, and Dale and wife Brenda Wilkerson; he is also survived by many cousins. Mark was preceded in death by his father, John; his maternal grandparents, Jacob and Anna Marie Raver; and paternal grandparents, Dale and Edna Wilkerson.
