Margaret J Noble

Margaret J. “Peg” (Stout) Noble, 83, of York, who was formerly of Shrewsbury, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at her home. She was the wife of Frederick C. Noble, to whom she was married to for 52 years. Peg had worked in both Idaho and the Southern York County School District for many years, then went to work at the former Glen Rock State Bank before her retirement. She had also served briefly on the Shrewsbury Borough Council and with her husband was a member of the Bon Air Country Club for over 25 years. Besides her husband, she is survived also by a son, Frederick E. Noble and his wife Meredith; grandchildren, Makenzie and Matthew Noble; two step grandchildren, Jacob and Ryan Baker. She was proceeded in death by a son, Charles Lee Williams. A viewing will be held for 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. All other services will be private. Family prefers no flowers, memorial contributions in Peg’s memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 224 St. Charles Way, York, Pa 17402.
