On February 25, 2022, Malcolm J. Hess, 90, of Dover, passed away peacefully into the arms of his savior with his family by his side. He was the former husband to the late Tamara (Boyer) Hess. Born on March 26, 1931 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Robert C. Hess and Margaret G. (Lehigh) Hess. After graduating High School from York Springs in 1949, he proudly served in the US Air Force. Malcolm worked for AMP, Inc./Tyco for over 30 years until he retired. He was a former member of the Turnpike Baptist Church in Shrewsbury, and then attended Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dover. He was also a member of the Shiloh American Legion Post 791. Malcolm is survived by his two daughters, Lori Waltemyer and husband Mark, and Dawn Zumbrum and husband Dunn; two grandchildren, Lisa Michael and husband Robert, and Tansy Peters and husband Seth; and six great-grandchildren; and his brother Larry Hess. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and ten siblings, Bob, Earl, Ruth, Blanche, Lura, Evelyn, Dot, Mim, and two infant siblings. A public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 3 from 1pm until a funeral service begins at 2pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Glen Rock.
