Lulu J. Urey

Lulu J. Urey Stewartstown Lulu J. (Gemmill) Urey, 82, Stewartstown, died Tuesday September 29, 2015. She was the wife of the late Ray J. Urey who died July 26, 2012 and she was married to for 61 years. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Round Hill Presbyterian Church, 7632 Church Road, Cross Roads, with the Rev. Dr. Chester V. Joines officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at the church. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Urey was born on November 30, 1932 in Fawn Township, a daughter of the late Howard E. and Lillie C. (Thompson) Gemmill. She graduated from Red Lion High School in 1950 and retired from Autokraft Box Company Red Lion in 1994 where she was employed as an Assembler for many years. Prior to that she worked at the former Hungerford Canning Company, Shrewsbury. She was a member of the Round Hill Presbyterian Church. She leaves a sister, Wilhelmina E. Grove of Felton, a brother Bruce E. Gemmill of Felton and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Round Hill Presbyterian Church, (mark for Roof Fund), P.O.
