Lovie I. Rohrbaugh Spring Grove Lovie I. (Shue) Rohrbaugh, 83, died Friday, October 3, 2014 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late Ralph E. Rohrbaugh Jr., with whom she shared 52 years of marriage prior to his death in 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at St. Jacob's (Stone) UCC Church, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville, with her pastor, the Rev. Dr. Jason A. Leader, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewings will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Tuesday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday at the church. Mrs. Rohrbaugh was born September 14, 1931 in Manheim Township, a daughter of the late John A. and Henrietta (Muth) Shue. She graduated in 1949 from Eichelberger High School, Hanover and in 1951 from York Junior College. She retired in 1989 from the office of W. E. Bittinger, Hanover where she was employed as a Financial Secretary for 18 years. Prior to that she worked at Sheets Brothers in Hanover. Lovie was a member of the St. Jacob's (Stone) United Church of Christ, for over 50 years, where she taught Sunday School and Bible School for 50 years. She was a member of the Lay Life Work Group and took many trips with the Community Club of the church. .She also was a member of the American Business Women of America and the Homewood Home Auxiliary. Surviving, are two sons, James E. Rohrbaugh and his wife, Cheryl of Spring Grove, Neal A. Rohrbaugh and his wife, Kathi of Spring Grove; five grandchildren, Paul and his wife Whitney, Joshua and his wife Laura, Kara, Carolyn and her fiancé Vadood Lotfian, and Megan Rohrbaugh, a great granddaughter, Lydia and a sister-in-law, Mary Shue of Mechanicsburg. She was last of 9 siblings. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jacob's (Stone) United Church of Christ, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville, PA 17329.
