Lorraine B. Keeney

On Sunday, September 26, 2021, Lorraine B. (Kopp) Keeney, 88, of Seven Valleys passed away at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation in York. She was the loving wife to the late Rene S. Keeney for 64 years until his passing in 2017. She was born on March 30, 1933 in Seven Valleys to the late Eva (Hawkins) and John L. Kopp, Sr. She was a 1951 Graduate of West York High School. She went on to be a garment worker for Seven Valleys Garment Company for 36 years until she retired. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling on a league for many years, going fishing and doing puzzle books. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Seven Valleys until it closed. Lorraine is survived by her three children, Rosemary Alumbaugh and husband Daniel, Brian Keeney and wife Christine, and Cheryl Keeney and significant other Timothy Ness; three grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher and John; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, John L. Kopp, Jr. Public viewing will be on Monday, October 4 from 12pm until a funeral service begins at 1pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Glen Rock. Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Seven Valleys.
